Waterproof; well that all

This is a fine waterproof item. It says its a mitten and that is the right shape/configuration. But it is really a shell. There is no insulation here. It must be worn over something or your fingers will freeze if it is cold. If you need to waterproof your mittens or gloves then an extra large one of these (they run small in my view) would do it. Otherwise they don't do much in terms of outdoor activities protection from the cold snow and slush.More detail ...
